What is Audit Readiness?
Many organisations hold certifications but let their systems drift between surveillance cycles. Others are approaching their first Stage 1 or Stage 2 assessment and are uncertain whether their documentation is complete. Our Audit Readiness service is a short, intensive engagement — typically 4 to 12 weeks — that closes the gap between your current state and what the auditor will expect to see.
What We Assess
- Documentation completeness — policies, procedures, records and their version control.
- Operational controls — whether documented processes are actually being followed.
- Internal audit records — evidence that your system is being reviewed and improved.
- Management review minutes — demonstrating leadership engagement.
- Corrective action logs — open NCRs and their resolution status.
- Calibration, maintenance and competence records relevant to the standard.
- Objectives, targets and performance monitoring evidence.
Our Readiness Process
Pre-Audit Review: We conduct a mock audit against the applicable standard clauses, identifying every gap and non-conformance.
Corrective Action Plan: We produce a prioritised action list and work with your team to close each gap before the audit date.
Documentation Update: We update or create missing documentation to ensure completeness.
Staff Briefing: We brief process owners on what the auditor will ask and how to present evidence effectively.
Final Check: A rapid final review confirms everything is in order before your auditor arrives.
